During our recent city break to Trindade, we stumbled upon Pousada Hymbe, perfectly situated on the main street, which added significant convenience after our long journey. The ambiance was welcoming enough, even if the bar staff gave off a bit of a surly vibe; perhaps a touch of Brazilian hospitality could go a long way! We booked a room meant for three-my wife, daughter, and I-but were left a tad disappointed when a more spacious room with bunk beds stayed unoccupied throughout our stay. Instead, we squeezed into a small room with a single mattress on the floor, which felt a tad cramped, especially in contrast to the available space upstairs. Despite this, the highlights included a clean room with great air conditioning to escape the heat, and a reasonable breakfast to start our day on a good note. I appreciated the free Wi-Fi and the flat-screen TV, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. While Pousada Hymbe has its quirks, the convenient location near local attractions makes it a decent choice for families like ours looking to balance comfort and accessibility during our travels.
